As specialists in 9 different sports like Running, Football, Tennis, Hockey, Padel, Handball, Korfball and Basketball we understand the needs of athletes and the dynamics within each sport. You’ll find everything you need to pursue your sporting ambitions with us.
Our data showed that many customers were shopping across several of our sport-specific shops. This insight revealed a strong potential to provide athletes with a single place where they can find everything they need. That’s why, earlier this year, we launched PassaSports.nl, the ultimate destination for all your sporting goals. Building on that success, we created the PassaSports App: a user-friendly, one-stop shop where you can quickly find everything you need for your favorite sport.

One app, all your sports
Ever realized you need extra gear while playing? With the PassaSports App, we’ve created a convenient touchpoint for all your sports essentials, right in your pocket. Whether you’re running, on the sidelines, or relaxing at home, you can quickly find and shop everything you need and easily reorder the items you need for your next session.
Before the app became a full one-stop shop, we were already helping customers purchase gear for different sports by linking them to our sport-specific shops, like VoetbalDirect and RunningDirect, each with its own checkout. Now, we’ve migrated nine sports sites into one seamless shop, making it simple to browse, switch between sports, and buy all your gear in a single checkout. One app, all your sports fast, easy, and designed to keep you focused on what you love: playing your sport.

Why JMango360?
What made you choose JMango360?
We wanted to move quickly and learn by launching an app. JMango360’s SaaS solution allowed us to go live with a sleek, user-friendly app in a low-threshold and relatively fast way. We started with two sports in the app and, within a few months, all our labels were integrated. This was our first step toward the ultimate PassaSports App.
Was there a specific feature or benefit that made you choose JMango360?
One major advantage was the integration with our CMS, which means category and product updates appear instantly in the app. We could also easily link the different labels with an additional layer, essentially creating a predecessor of PassaSports.nl. Another benefit was that customers could log in with their existing account, whether using the webshop or app. And with the OneSignal integration, we gained a new channel to reach and activate customers via push notifications.
The Results
What were your customers’ first impressions of the app?
A clear, user-friendly app. Visitors can quickly find the sports gear they need and easily switch between different sports.
What early results have you seen since launch (e.g. conversions, engagement, revenue)?
We focused on encouraging repeat visits and promoting cross-sport purchases. We’ve seen improved engagement, with customers returning to the app more often and discovering gear for multiple sports. The PassaSports App makes it simple to shop, explore different sports, and keep all your sporting essentials in one place.
Impact & Future Plans
What role do you see for the app in the future? Are there any specific plans or developments?
The PassaSports app is an extension of our platform, allowing customers to buy their sports gear quickly and easily. When switching sports, they enter an environment fully tailored to that sport free from distractions. In the next phase, we’ll launch the app internationally and explore how push notifications can further strengthen customer loyalty.
Have there been any unexpected benefits from having a mobile app?
With the launch of the app, we’ve created a new way to connect directly with our customers. Through push notifications, we can encourage them to stay on track and work toward their sports goals. It’s a powerful channel that reaches users right on their screens, motivating them to do what they love most.
